How do you study? I want to start doing studies but im not sure how. I'm not sure how to actually learn from there and where should I begin.

I know how u feel ! Believe me . The way I want about it was picking an area of focus what do I want to really want to get better at currently. Since I draw characters and aim to do more dynamic things with my art I focused on human anatomy! Mostly figure drawing (simplifying forms) and going back and forth/referring to anatomy topics I want to improve on. I hope that makes sense. During a study I focus on certain things (read books that I have on said topic) and go in (sketchbook or iPad) to apply what I learned. I do this for sometime and hour or so, especially when doing figure stuff cause I want to be more intentional with what I draw.

The Tomfoxdraws book is really good beginner guide to figure drawing, studying and anatomy. While I also enjoy morpho books (they require some background anatomy knowledge to get faster). I’ll share what books I use and all the links to them and the sites I use for figure drawing.
