You may already be familiar with the animated series Mission Odyssey, based on the legend of Ulysses, but if not, I hope to introduce you to it here.

Ulysses and his crew set sail to find their way back to Ithaca.

But Poseidon decided to stop them for good.

He withdrew the sea for miles around, leaving Ulysses' ship in the middle of a salt desert, with no way forward.

To survive, Ulysses and his companions sought fresh water on the surrounding islands, made accessible on foot and already beginning to wither.

The heat continued to rise when, at last, Nisa and Zephyr's group found a spot of fresh water.

But as Zephyr began to fill the amphorae, Nisa took some water and drank as much as her two hands could hold.

They realized that these waters were far from ordinary, as Nisa began to grow taller and taller.

No sooner had she realized what was happening to her, than she reached a height of 40m.

However, Nisa's misfortune saved her friends' lives, as she grew tall and strong enough to carry the boat in her arms, until she was back at sea.

Ulysses and his crew stayed in the boat, sheltered from the sun, while their friend carried the ship with giant steps in the desert heat, in the company of Zephyr, who stayed with this beautiful giant girl who made his heart beat faster.

Finally, she reached the sea, and the moment she set the boat down with her feet in the water, she regained her normal size and climbed back onto the ship with Zephyr.

A strange adventure that the crew, and Nisa in particular, will long remember.
