Weekly VTuber News: (May 1-3, 2022)

> Demondice is Guest of Honor for Anime Central 2022. Guess you'll be seeing her there again.  > Kson celebrates her 6th anniversary as a content creator.

 > Melissa Kinrenka announced her graduation from Nijisanji. The reason is actually pretty terrible. She wanted to make music by herself, for herself. But because of company rules and contract terms, she doesn't own any of the music she has made as 'Melissa Kinrenka'. She decided to not renew her contract in Nijisanji so she could focus on her music career more. A lot of fans grieve this, since Melissa was apparently one of the best singers in the agency.

 > Sony Music Japan just fucking bought PRISM Project LMFAO. (They worded it out as a 'partnership', but since Sony is essentially taking over as the talent and agency's management, it's basically a purchase at this point.)

> Calli got assfucked by a few bankers. Made a rather massive purchase for a studio, but the bank froze her card. Bureucratic shenanigans ensue. She says she's happy to be back in the States. She's now back in Japan though.

> Enna Alouette of Nijisanji EN is actually suffering right now. After she ate a particular spicy noodle, she's been hurting real bad. To a point where her ass felt like it was bleeding. She said she's going to take a break up to fix her digestive issues. It's actually crippling her.

> Kanata Amane unveils her new outfit.

> Shu Yamino Birthday celebration.

> Nijisanji is launching Luxiem into Bilibili. I'm actually fucking scared of this, and so is most of the fans, including their Chinese fanbase.  > Nijisanji's Kanae celebrates his 4th year anniversary. Has also become an artist under Lantis.

> Sasaki Saku new outfit

> Ollie will be taking a 1 week break.

> Hololive Researcher gets fucked. His YouTube channel got copyright struck and was promptly terminated by YouTube. I expect him to get back up, as he always has. That guy has a massive hateboner for Hololive.

> Big B0SS Usada Pekora is Hololive's most viewed YouTube VTuber in the first quarters of 2022, with a whopping 8 million watch time hours,  > A-Chan joins Reddit.

> Ironmouse is the world's most watched female streamer, with a whopping 10 million watch hours.
