December strikes again in full force, but the next update should be done the day after tomorrow. Either way, the finished pages will definitely by done this month.

That gun was one of the reasons why this whole thing took so long this month. It won't appear again in the following pages, but I wanted it to look good in these two. Maybe I will reduce the colors a bit to make it look more comic-book-y, but I still really like how it turned out. Fun fact about the process of this gun:

I actually suck at designing and drawing guns. Even modeling them in 3d gives me a headache. Before I used to download a free model from the internet and then modify it to my needs, however this always leaves a bad taste in my mouth. this time however I had a good idea using modern tools. AI. WAIT WAIT, hear me out! I used an AI to come up with a good design, then I modeled the gun completely from scratch in Blender. Every single vertice was hand placed by me!

The rest of the backgrounds look quite empty, it's because I wanted to use a similar technique as the original comic. There will just be way too many trees and whatnot to draw every page for the entire comic. But I think it will look fine in the final thing.

I've also added the character design sheet for the new characters in this chapter. The guy is already introduced, but the other fairy will be important in later pages. (Though she is already partly visible in the first panel to the right)

The capture gun looks cool Kibate! I do not see anything wrong with using new tools to assist in making something you feel better about. I cannot wait to see the final images! 😊
