- The first version of the game was just a quick writing exercise of the "Sherlock and Watson try to catch a bird" with a very wholesome / slice-of-life vibe... It was not good. (Tho some of it remains in ch3!)

- H has flipped a lot in personality during planning->drafting->writing stage. The very first version was much softer and overtly kind and polite. (Then for a second they were basically Darcy from P&P). Then, while actually starting writing, they were basically non-simp but even more cold. But then I realised I missed the soft simp I had planned in the early stages, and incorporated that into simp-route + softened non-simp cause they were ... too much of a douche.

- Sherlock was gonna be able to choose boxing/fencing/shooting as a stat at first, but it didn't fit the story—some versions would be used more than others—so now MC is basically good at all of them (tho worse if low strength/speed).

- For a very long time H did not have a last name (for multiple reasons).

- I considered for a while if the maid/footman should be an RO, and also an unnamed not yet-seen NPC, but decided against it. Might have flirt options tho. (Mrs Hudson was never an option!)

- Mycroft's role was expanded from only appearing in letters to being able to appear in at least one scene in the game.

- There's a mystery in the game I've planted I don't know how many seeds for and no one has figured it out yet! SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN SO CLOSE!!! At this point, I don't know if I want them to figure it out, cause now it's a big thing should it be revealed 🫣
