Dev Update 6/20/22 (Patreon)

Hey, friends!

Hope everyone's having a nice week. We have a few new patrons who joined up with the $2 tier this week, so I'm going to drop a small set of steamy renders on Wednesday. Just my little way of saying thanks!

Currently I'm running renders for The Student Loan, setting the images as I go. At the moment I just need to render all the images for the sex scenes, which I'm hoping I can finish up by the end of today. As long as they all finish rendering by tomorrow morning, I should be able to plug them in and get the game out to the $15+ patrons by tomorrow evening.

I'm using this game to try out some new coding stuff, which I hope will be beneficial to the development of Friends in Need. I'm also trying to teach myself to be as spartan as possible with the render count. I went a little nuts in some of the FiN conversation scenes, spending a lot of time rendering tiny shifts in character positions, when that time could have been better spent filling out the sex scenes. This is me trying to readjust and try a new way of doing things.

Speaking of Friends in Need, I found out how to implement a much-requested lower-opacity text box for the game (so easy even I could do it!) and I'm chipping away at the script for Chapter Three as we speak. Still planning to have it done by the end of the month, so long as I can contain my impulse to add new scenes. This chapter will see a lot of the drama getting ramped up, as well as the acceleration of the player's path towards benevolent do-gooder, or malevolent opportunist. I'm really hopeful that the fully update will be done by the end of July, so I can get it out to high-tier patrons early.

Also, I purchased this jacuzzi set for the game, since the MC mentioned he was having one installed. Who should he invite over, first? He did tell Ashe he'd have her back, but Madison really seems like she needs to unwind, and Gabby would certainly appreciate a little luxury in her life.
