Dev Update 5/30/22 (Patreon)

Hey there, friends! This'll be a brief update today.

I mentioned that I'm redoing some of the renders I'd already finished, and above you can see an example of the before/after. Basically, I'm trying to add a real sense of life and place to the scenes, through better lighting and color. I'll move as quickly as I can to finish these, and get the finished update out.

In the art world, there's this phrase, "Done is better than perfect," which I've always been a big proponent of. But, I also believe in getting something right the first time. I want this game to have a long life, and if people go into it and see half-assed art right at the beginning, I don't think I'll be able to build an audience.

So, hang tight, I'm working as fast as I can.

In other news, how'd everybody like the Chapter Two teaser? What do we think of Ashe? I'm really proud of that whole segment. Ashe originally wasn't meant to be part of the cast, but after I wrote a couple scenes with her, I really fell in love with the bubbly blonde, and I'm really excited to see future interactions with her.
