2021 is coming to an end and it has been quite an unusual year for me and many others. The pandemic has changed, or at least made us rethink, a lot of things.

It has been a very challenging year for me personally (wrestling with anxiety, like so many others do) but professionally it has never gone better (staying indoors by the computer helped, I guess)! Even though this wasn’t the year I put out some of my best work (“Shrunk and Drunk” and “Force Feeding” being my choices for that!) I’ve made quite good progress in widening and deepening my skills in animation, learning MoCap and other techniques for facial expressions and movement, all laying the groundwork for better and more realistic animations to come.

2022 will be the year when it all happens, however! Thanks to your generosity I’m now able to quit my job so that I can focus full time on what I love doing. This includes spending more time with friends and family (and being physically more active) but foremost the formal study of animation and 3D-modelling and learning new software like Blender and perhaps Maya or Unreal Engine (cause I’ve reached the limits of what Daz can do, I feel).

I’ve also promised myself to be much more interactive with you guys and the rest of the community in the coming year. I plan on dealing with my anxiety head-on, to take the bull by the horns! I think that’s the best way.

Oh, I was working on my first mini-animation for Christmas or New Year but it went from 10 seconds to over 40 seconds while planning (why does that always happen!?). It is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time; an underwater animation featuring a giantess mermaid! Animating schools of fish takes longer than I anticipated:) Shouldn't be too long before it is done but I want it to look perfect.

So, with that one not finished I’ve decided to give you all a short preview from “Her First Shoot” featuring one of the scenes with our favorite guest starring giantess; Josephine!

I wish you all the very best in 2022! Happy New Year!

I feel for you, anxiety is a real concern for me too, and I applaud your approach. I suffer with PTSD, so I know how this mental health stuff can affect your mood and your day to day life, then have a knock on effect on your work, sucking the joy out of everything it touches. Keep being awesome, sir.

Anxiety and such is a royal pain, but it's great to hear you are taking steps to handle it in ways you are comfortable! I can not wait to see the mermaid animation, and this teaser for HFS has already confirmed what I was feeling: that being that it is going to be PERFECT. Nice to see Josephine (even if part of me was hoping she would have ended up also being eaten this time around heh).

Bruh. Your work and skill has come so far, and it’s been incredible to watch. It’s also great to see you making efforts to crush your anxiety. You are easily one of the best in this genre, and you keep getting better. Can’t wait to see how you evolve and branch in the upcoming years. I hope you have a happy, and truly blessed new year.

I second the idea of Josephine one day getting eaten, perhaps by a sneaky friend with a shrink Ray or by Elli? Also is it possible to know how long in length HFS will be? Happy new year btw!
