Hello everyone!

Thank you so very much for the continued support, guys! As the recent birthday-boy Keanu Reeves would say; you are breathtaking!

This coming week we’ll get the release of “The Perfect Swallow”-animation (I'm afraid I won't have it done by this weekend). As I've said before, that’s not what I’m going to call this animation, it’s just the name of the larger project that this was initially meant to be one part of. “The Perfect Swallow” as a whole was scrapped (or put on indefinite hold), though one of the ideas for that project was for you guys to vote on different vore-scenarios, which I’m now realizing in the longer version of “Her First Shoot” instead.

Speaking of which, I’m feeling quite good about returning to “Her First Shoot” and it’s many fun and unique vore-scenarios, and giving them my all! It is quite different in structure from my other work and it will contain tons of vore, which is always appreciated :)

Agreed that some people could tone it down. But I think there's valid frustration when someone sets expectations, but doesn't communicate when those expectations change. Personally, as much as I appreciate them, I wish TheWiking would stop posting ETAs. Emergencies are completely understandable and all, and I'm sure TheWiking is doing their best to get this out ASAP. But this is not the first time they've given an ETA, and then been silent when that ETA slips by (I think - in the past - they said this is due to the social pressure/anxiety, which again is totally valid, but it's also why I wish they stopped posting ETAs at all). That said, as always, wishing TheWiking the best. \o/

And now, as always, people are getting antsy. Any number of things from the personal to technical could have happened to make this animation longer to get out. Maybe even because he decided to make the animation longer/better than originally planned, which of course it great for us! However, like Vision said, the frustration is understandable. The apparent delay isn't the problem; it's the lack of any updates. It feels like making dinner plans with someone only for them to not show up to the restaurant without even texting you. I know that, like many creators, Wiking is hesitant to give updates due to anxiety and not wanting to disappoint, but I feel it's something he still needs to find a better solution to. We just like to be involved and informed is all, because we all love Wiking's work so much. Perhaps he could have a separate blog or Twitter account to use solely to give small progress updates when needed? Or like Jay said: not give estimated release dates at all and just give progress updates? It's all about managing the expectations of your fans. I've been following Wiking for about 10 years now, so I'm aware that he rarely gets animations out on time when he gives an ETA. I call it "Wiking Time". Whatever time frame he sets, it usually ends up being double of what he estimated. I do hope everything is all right with Wiking and that this short animation is simply taking a bit longer than expected. I look forward to watching it in the coming days. At this point, I want to just encourage him instead of being the guy going "wtf where is it?!". We as fans need to mature just as Wiking matures as a creator.

I do assure you he is one of the few creators that makes content that is worth even another month of wait. You surely won't want tu ruin the result by requesting it not to be completed just to have it released a week earlier.

Love your work, Wiking. Please stop releasing ETAs. It's fine, just chillax and release it when it's ready, to quote a once-glorious gaming developer.

As previously stated, some of ya'll need to chill out. Stop letting the horni take over and be abit more considerate yea? If you've ever followed any animator for longer than 5 minutes and 1$ a month - you'd know that this happens alot. So much so that I actually forget the dates set, and just take ETA's as general guideline that something will appear within the next month or 2. There are so many issues that can arrise during this process, that cause a delay, that people may or may not understand. That, or in todays age, dude could be laid up in bed with the alpha beta and or gamma variants of covid. Honestly, I hope he's alright, and I've known him long enough to know it'll be ready when it's ready, and it will generally exceed expectations. Rushing and complaining wont change that.
