Hello everyone, big and small,

Thank you all for another month's support and a special welcome to all new patrons! This has been my best month yet, with the release of Shrunk and Drunk, all the positive and constructive feedback, as well as many new supporters joining our corner of the internet. It truly warms this viking's heart. Welcome, and thank you!

I've learned very much during the production of Part One of Shrunk and Drunk and the animation itself changed a lot during production. As some of you have already guessed, there was meant to be more story to it, a bit more of a narrative, but the rendering and animating took so long for each scene that I decided to start with "the good bits" and then work my way back and add narrative at the very end of production. This way, I could balance how much story I wanted against what I minimally needed to make it work, and thereby have more control of the release date. For example, the two guys seen in the beginning and end were meant to play a bigger role, and I wanted to showcase some other girls visiting the bar as well, but I decided that this wasn't necessary. I've also made custom dancing and idle animations for the rest of the bar's patrons, as well as several assets (like a shrinking machine), that I won't use 'till Part Two.

Speaking of Part Two; I have some great ideas and scenes planned for this one. Many of these are completely novel to me and I think you'll love'em. And, there'll be a twist, of course!

Have a good one! Cheers,

TheWiking2000

Congrats for your achievement, and glad you're still learning! Fun comes in discovery. I can't wait to see what's coming on next part! BTW, is there a way you could release the first part with no music, like Tummy Crisis?

TheWiking2000

I learn from my mistakes:) Yes, sure. You might have to remind be though, but I'll get around to uploading a version without music.

Do you have any idea on what the time scale for Part 2 is?

TheWiking2000

Not really, I'm afraid. No more than much shorter than for part 1! First couple of scenes are already done so work is going nicely. It all depends on whether I encounter any blockers. I'll be sure to tell you if that happens.

Please share any small successes and blockers that you encounter. You have a lot of people here that you can brainstorm with.
