Vilserio. My leg has been swollen and I've been in pain a for a full week and I still can't walk - Munisix here. Hope you are all doing well as I am not 😂

February was a big implementation month of all the ideas that we've been accumulating over the past couple of months. We don't usually show stuff that's this raw work in progress but we've decided to just keep showing more stuff BtS in 2023 so here we goooo: Check out some of the coolio things we've been chipping away at.

Bar Ordering System UI

The sequence of approaching Binack and ordering a drink is being finalized


This videos above are roughs I made last month so the team can have an understanding of the flow. The key here is to show the player (hey that's you!) 1) Ritona's current mana status, 2) present the drink selection that's available today, 3) ask Binak about any of the drinks that are available and 4) select a drink all seamlessly... or at the least without any noticeable transitions or cuts. I really want to take advantage of the full 3D environment we have and give the scene some depth. In the final version there should be pitching, there should be yawing maybe even some rolling... but most of all, there will be drinking.

Certain drinks are jinxed as it won't agree with Ritona's condition but she has no way of knowing because the Vita Domain is constantly messing with Ritona's physical and mental condition. That is unless you talk to a certain fortune teller...

Alty's Tarot Reading

Alty will be able to update Ritona on her inner condition and give her advice on what drinks will bring her good luck that day. Pulling certain cards will also flag specific events. When a good luck drink hits Riona properly, her Mana meter will heal more and chances of over-drinking (getting incapped) gets greatly mitigated.

Once you get mana, Ritona is able to "Kaidoku" or mind hack her surroundings and make things that weren't there appear. She can also "read people's minds if her "mana level" is high enough.
