We're down to the wire and the countdown begins.

First of all, the official teaser for LIGHTKRAVTE is done! Patrons get to see it early! yeeeee! Please check it out in glorious 4K if you can. Also please don’t share this video yet, as it will officially launch along with the Steam store page in a couple days. More on that later on this post.

As you all can probably imagine, there are many things going on behind the scenes right  now -- if you've ever played the game Overcooked, just imagine the last 10 seconds of that game but drawn out to like a whole month 🙃. Starting with a man down on the team with a tenacious case of the flu, various other circumstances have piled up that we really can't discuss publicly at a really unfortunate stage of development (you know, the end) but we're still managing a safe flight so far. No one has died (yet) and no one is hurt (yet) and for the most part we are on schedule (kind of). I believe there is nothing out of the ordinary here though. It's just a really tough period of time where we kinda need to buckle down and put out fires as they come along.

That being said, we're at that level again where we can talk about schedule so here I come bearing some good news. First let me quickly go over what exactly is going on behind the scenes right now and how Steam functions.

We already have an "alpha" build up on Steam and the store page is pretty much finalized. Tis is important becuase the store page needs to be opened to the public for 2 weeks, prior to public release of the actual game. We have already received a good number of functioning Steam steams as well.

We're planning on releasing LIGHTKRAVTE in 2 stages; first wave will be a "Patrons release" where qualifying patrons will have access to the game early. Early meaning they will get the game as soon as the build is ready after the store page is opened to the public and is going through its 2 week aeration period.

Ideally we wanted to do a 13th launch for the Patrons release but we are currently inundated with making PR materials and squashing bugs and finalizing the game like no other. The QA team over at Phoenixx and AiD are working overtime (a laughable concept really, since every waking hour is basically work😂) to get an acceptable "beta" release where there are no glaring issues but it seems like we're going to miss the mark by 2-3 days.

That leaves us with the following schedule:

May 13th PST - Store page release to the public
May15~17th-ish PST - Internal Patrons release via Steam key
May 27th PST -  Official public release


Our deepest apologies as we really wanted to get the Patrons release out by the 13th but there really is no point in rushing at this stage... We really want you to have the best experience possible when you go through LIGHTKRAVTE for the first time. Everyone here at the team poured our blood sweat and soul into this game and it would be devastating to release something that is less than ideal so please just hang in there for just a tiny bit longer. We promise it will be worth the wait.
