Tiny bit of waxing poetic: This physical run is probably the biggest ordeal that we've undertaken in the entirety of AiD's existence. It's the amalgamation of our initial plan to move to a new platform/engine in order to reach as many people as possible while fortifying the survival of our then more verbose but tiny still none the less group. The digital release on Switch and PS4 was a victory worthy of celebration too yes, but this physical release is and always has been the milestone we've been hacking away at forever. This is the proper end of MS1. I cannot stress enough how relieved we are that this is finally happening. Remember the 2018 visual update? The 4K assets, the new UI, new music, the brand new key art with Ritona and Selphine in Kadia city in their Rughzenhaide clothing? All that was supposed to be for this physical release. This is where we were supposed to be, 2-3 years ago. There are many things we regret and would approach in a different way if we had the chance to go back in time, but there are numerous silver linings that make us even more hopeful for the future. We probably would never have worked with our new publisher, Phoenixx, for instance, and we never would have met our wonderful new programmer. Though there are no promises in life, we are cautiously optimistic about what the future beholds. There's some interesting BtS things happening that we can't talk about yet but we promise there's more happening under the hood than we let off to be.
