Canvas Art: THE MARIONETTES (Patreon)

This request is from Lukyon and the concept was childhood Rune and Selphine in a darker setting. It's not a request I get frequently so I had a lot of fun with this one. The research of clothing for this piece took quite long because it was a challenge to find costumes that fit the motif that was requested.

The color correction was very hard as well because there's a lot of black and tuning the printing colors so we don't lose the finer details of the backgrounds to the shadow took some careful tweaking. All in all it came out very beautiful though!

普段あまり描かないタイプのモチーフが沢山描けてとても楽しかったです。
資料集めにもかなり時間を使って、二人の雰囲気が出るようなコスチュームになるよう創意工夫するのはやりがいがありました。
モチーフやテーマでのリクエストの場合、シーンでのリクエストより幅広く構図や表情が作れるので、より一枚絵としての魅力を高めやすかったです。
今回は黒が多いイラストなので印刷特性上、校正の難易度がとても高いのですが、出来上がったらどこかでお披露目したいですね。
