I would like to share some sketches that didn't quite make it to the finished stage, as well as some rough drafts that I might still complete. My process typically involves jotting down ideas whenever inspiration strikes and finishing them later. However, sometimes the passion wanes, or I come up with other projects I'd rather work on, or the piece ends up being less satisfying than I hoped, and so on and so forth...

There are various reasons these drafts remain unfinished. Generally, for each fully completed piece, I go through about 2 to 5 rough drafts (simple outlines showing only the pose, like mannequins). The drafts I’m showing here are a bit more refined from those initial sketches.

Lately, I've started using pose references or pose mannequins to simulate the composition beforehand. Though I’d like to make more use of 3D human pose tools, I find myself not yet accustomed to using them with my current painting software (Clip Studio Paint). I often think it might be quicker to just draw things out the way I'm used to.

I don’t usually share such rough sketches, so I feel a bit embarrassed, but I hope you fine them interesting!
