Once again, I want to thank you for your support.

Very few times I talk about my personal life, but I think that this is the right time to do it, because I owe you some explanations.

My goal is still to be able to become a full-time freelance illustrator but due to my obligations and commitments, this will take a little longer to materialize.

As you have noticed, my publication rate has decreased. This is due to two factors. The first is my job. I had to increase my work hours and take double shifts. The second is the time I spend to improve my technique and have a better understanding of the anatomy, study other artists and learn from their technique.

I'm currently stuying Shiwasu no Okina:

The objective of studying them is to be able to properly emulate their technique and be able to use it in the projects that I have had to paused.

On the other hand, I mentioned that the fundamental objective of this patreon is to generate the resources necessary to be able to buy drawing equipment and I have fulfilled it.

I have dedicated a part of the money that I have earned by doing overtime in my work and thanks to their support and the commissions that I have per month, I have been able to buy a couple of tablets that unfortunately I have had to return due to malfunction.

At the end of September I bought the Huion Kamvas Pro 16. Which returned for its offset problems.

A month later, I made the attempt with Kamvas 16 and the same story happened.

And despite this, today I took a risk once again with Huion and bought the Kamvas Pro 22. Its top-of-the-range model. Here I make a clarification. The price of this tablet is 900 USD, however I purchased it at a auction price. The tablet will arrive on Thursday and this time I hope it works correctly.

Why do I keep taking risks with Huion?

Because currently it is the most I can afford. Believe me that I would like to buy a Cintiq Pro 16 but right now it is impossible for me.

Dear patrons, I beg your pardon for all these delays. I assure you that if I could, I would sit at the desk all day to draw. However, I have commitments and I must keep them. But still, here I am!

Yours, Yashiro A. Marino.
