Borrowing Blockbusters: Alien in the 1990s and Beyond (Patreon)

Part two!

EDIT: Adapting these videos for public YouTube has lead to me making minor changes. Where those changes end up representing an improvement, I've gone back and applied them to the Patreon version, so I've updated the video in this post (as I did with Alien 80s). It's mainly tweaks to the volume of my voiceover (which I'm hopeless at levelling) and unlikely to be noticeable, but I can get a bit obsessive.

I did add about 40 seconds on the movie Blood Predator though (at around 22:00). I originally dropped it because the picture quality of the source file is ropey and the movie owes more to The Thing. I put it back in simply because the 40 seconds enabled me to place the ad breaks better. It's been growing on me ever since so I thought I'd add it back into the Patreon version too.

And I've added a very brief plug for upcoming documentary Aliens Expanded (around 08:00), which also gets a mention during the end credits (as in the 80s video). The producers are fans of the channel and I'm a fan of their documentaries (In Search of the Last Action Heroes in particular is smashing). I've been offered a lot more money by energy drink and crypto companies but I won't be taking it. I'm happy to promote something that's relevant and that I believe in though.
