Update (Patreon)

Just a little housekeeping. First, I hope nobody minds but I made the Elm Street video generally available a couple of days early. I usually leave it at least a week between videos going live on Patreon and then up on YouTube, but it took a fortnight to get this one past the current content rules, and the Halloween theme gave it a limited lifespan.

I was on the excellent Cinema Oblivia podcast recently to talk about The Taking of Beverly Hills. I should have pushed this earlier but I’m useless and I've spent the last two weeks crippled by an exploded back.

I also recorded a commentary for the live action Fist of the North Star with YouTuber Oliver Harper. If you like a straight take on 80s/90s genre movies, I highly recommend his channel.

In terms of upcoming videos, things are a little vague. I'll get something proper up before Christmas, but the Borrowing Blockbusters I’ve been working on is too big a project. There are a couple of Story of… documentaries I’ve been wanting to do/finish, so that may be the answer.

(And I’m still sitting on big news that I’ll be able to share in a couple of weeks despite it still being a bit vague!)

As ever, thank you. The channel's grown enormously over the last few months, and I don't know whether I'd have been able to focus on it as much as I have without your practical support, and the confidence it gives me to keep going.
