After years of delays, Patreon has finally pulled their finger out and introduced what I think is one of the most important benefits to patrons ever - anniversary billing.

Like most streaming services, anniversary billing means that you will be charged on the 'anniversary' of your pledge monthly. So if you sign up on the 15th, you will be charged again on the 15th of the following month.

This change will only affect new patrons going forward. Existing patrons will continue to be charged on the 1st of the month.

To most of you, the idea that you could be charged on the 29th of the month and again on the 1st may seem a bit absurd. However, there is a strong contingent of Patreon creators who want that system to stay the way it is. Long story short, they don't want people to 'game' the system and get double rewards.

To me, living with anyone out there 'gaming' the system is worth it for the convenience it provides to all you guys.

So, welcome to a far more logical subscription standard!

I don't even understand how someone could "game the system" in a way they couldn't before...

Yes, I also think that the new Billing System is a Win/win for Supporters and Creators. I truly hope that Patreon continues to increase the logic behind their systems.

As long as I can continue to support Grove and Lady it doesn't matter to me😁👍

Also if any of the 3 lovely ladies, Belle Luca Trish especially, need holding while adjustment takes effect I'm available 😍

As long as there are Breasts of Stupendously Unusually Massive Sizes (BoSUMS, if you will, and I do think they exist), you can bill me whenever you want.

It comes down to people who either cycle content or release items at the first of the month. I've had long discussions with people who did not want the change (they're happy it's optional) but the argument goes "If I release content on the 1st of the month, and someone joins on the 15th, they will either get two months of content, or will have to wait until the next 1st for their content to only get one, which they would not like". Naturally I don't agree with that business model, but to each their own.

I'll have to check out the local fire swamps for those ones, but I can say we have plenty of BREaSTs (Boobs Rapidly Enlarging and Swelling Tenaciously) on hand.

Any creator putting out content only once a month is allowing the system to be gamed in the first place. I actually love that they're changing this because the first of each month is rather inconvenient for me as a whole.

Yes! I love it when Patreon listens to people's opinions and makes good changes! Thanks for the heads up!

NakedSunFlower

Yes, with regards to subscription billing, it has now become more fair and correct than it was before.

dawnbreaker

Wait this isn't a universal change? Didn't realize it was optional. How are you suppose to know which subscription model someone's using before you subscribe to them?

I like it it's a great idea at least I know that when I pay it will be when I have the money

Exactly! Everyone budgets differently and its fantastic that this new system allows patrons to make that choice for themselves!
