February SS Reward #1 - The Pill 0.4.8 (Patreon)

Greetings all! I am happy to finally announce the release of the next instalment of The Pill. This has been a long time coming and the biggest single update thus far. The changes I've made have impacted every element of the game, so I would not be surprised if there needs to be a quick fix released in the next few days but until then, I hope that it works well enough for you all to enjoy!

This is what I'd consider to be the final entry in "Part 1" of The Pill (content wise). Beyond the new Luca content, I've also added in some easter-eggs into the other chapters that helps to tie everything together. Rather than having you have to stumble through old content to find them, I'll tell you where they are:

• Belle - Give her a butt pill then tell her to undo. Then give her sass.
• Trish 1 - Give her a 'height' pill, tell her that she's "tall-er" and then taunt that Belle would do it.
• Trish 2 - Give her a 'height' pill, tell her that she's tall "among other things", select a boob pill, note that amazons had muscles, attack the amazon.
• Party - Run for your life the first chance you get.
• There are also two similar eggs in the Luca chapter, good luck finding them!

Now for a full rundown of what's new in this update:

• Added around 11,000 words of additional script content
• 10 new endings, taking Luca to 15
• 16 new animations
• 25 new achievements, taking the game's total to 99
• 15 new music tracks
• New dialogue UI
• New achievement gallery UI
• Reworked all the achievement previews to work in the new gallery format.
• Game now defaults into full screen.
• Re-worked how Luca's endings are summoned. This means a slower load time to get into the chapter, but faster loops when you 'reverse time'. The other chapters remain the same. This also means text will fade on rather than write on.
• Added a 'skip' button to Luca's chapter, and the first conversation of the other chapters. This will be fully rolled out in a future version.
• Re-made the first 'height' animation in Trish's chapter to better show her height growth
• Added 3 new character models.
• The game will now launch in full screen mode.

There are also a couple of known bugs that I'm trying to squash:

• When loading into the game, if it is at a save point (e.g. at the end of a loop) then this will generate an empty save slot that does nothing.
• Sometimes when loading from the 'load game' page, the page itself may not unload. This will result in it appearing over animations. In this case, the game must be re-set to fix.
• On occasion, a character may not unload at the end of a cycle, resulting in two characters at the start of the next loop. In this instance the game should be saved and re-loaded to fix.
• The gallery has been known to disappear, especially if played in windowed mode, in this instance you will need to exit and go back into the gallery to have it reappear.
• If you click through too quickly the choices menu may either select the first option or not load at all. In this instance, save the game and re-load back in. There may or may not be some visual bugs but finishing the loop will solve these.
