Welcome to a surprise new version of The Pill!

While progress is still underway on the big new addition of Luca (version 0.4.7) I've got a little something to tide you over. The fact that Belle, The Party and Luca will all have dynamic cameras with their animation while poor old Trish is left with the old sort has been a thorn in my side.

So in an effort to have a clean slate from which to build from, I have updated the 10 animations in Trish's chapter to be in line with the others. These new animations also address some of the issues people had (like some of the BE not being obvious), are longer and have improved audio to go with them.

If you have already unlocked these animations in your last build I believe you should be able to just view them in the achievements gallery. If not, well it's as good a reason as any to play through Trish's chapter again!

(Also just a reminder for everyone - the password for The Party chapter is PatreonExclusive)

This is great news - thanks for the update, Trish is my favorite, so I'm excited to see the updates to that section which did indeed feel a bit outdated compared to the other two. Question: do you think you might ever release the animations as stand alone files again (could be for Patrons only)? You had done this back with a much earlier version of The Pill for Belle. I know the idea is that we unlock all the animations in the achievement gallery but speaking for myself I know I sometimes want to just...ahem...enjoy the animations easily and accessibly.

I feel kinda silly asking, but is there a secret to getting the "good ending" in the party scene? i feel like i've tried everything. clearly i must not have, lol, but yeah.

I have tried several times trying to get into the party chapter but it will not load. I keep putting in the password but nothing happens.

Hey BE Grove I like the upgrade you place in the game. My only problem is that I do not have a password the special chapter. I might miss the password in another post is there way to get the password. Sorry

Field report for the Android version... OS: Android 10 Phone: Motorola Moto G6 Issue: animations are broken. The screen goes haywire during the animation before returning to normal after completion. I'll try to get a screenshot of it next time.

Hey Sawyer, thanks for the report. That animation issue has been found by some other users as well (and is actualyl flagged as a potential issue in the engine I'm using). I actually don't have the problem myself on my phone, so will keep on releasing the android versions, but I think the only solution will be to find a different video player code within unity. Out of curiosity, do they work when you go to the achievements/gallery?

A couple of days ago I was playing the previous version of The Pill and I realized that it would be amazing to have some sort of New Game Plus mode as a reward for completing all endings of a specific character. The gameplay and animations would be the same but the female characters would be always fully naked...sounds too cheesy?

Not too cheesy - I have had some thoughts on that matter, I do intend to eventually add an ancillary reward to completing the arcs and it will be something a bit similar to this.

I seem to be having trouble with the mega site itself, my pc freezes on the company logo. I attempted on my android phone but that did the exact same, any help?

It could possibly be something to do with your internet's dns blocking the site. I found this youtube clip that claims to have a solution to the problem you have. I haven't vetted the guy or anything, so can't say for certain if it works. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fYyEedhqpHU If nothing else if you watch his video with audio on you have an equal chance of succumbing to a coma by the end.

When using the Android version when it tries to play an animation in-game it doesn't work on my screen. it gets heavily choppy and grided and IDK what I'm looking at before it cuts back to the normal screen. the gallery works fine tho. other than that. love the Pc version works great.
