Hey folks, we've got an interesting MWM this week.

Last month I decided to invest in some better animation software (iClone for those interested) and have been figuring out how to get my content from Daz Studio into and out of it.

Well today I have successfully done just that! The above animation is still rendered in Daz Studio but the core of the animation work was done in the new software.

I've still got a long way to go to master the new program, but in future hopefully it'll lead to smoother and/or better animations in general, especially if I can find a way to utilize the mocap elements.

Wow! It's so much faster and smoother in its motions! Will The Pill's animations be redone using the new software?

begrove

It is an improvement definitely. No plans to redo the animations in the Party chapter, but we'll see about the other chapters if there's enough demand.

Looks alot smoother in movement and the "body language" is more realistic 👌

I just watched some iClone demos and holy cow that has some impressive animation controls. Not cheap, though not unreasonable on the price either. I've always considered your animations to be good, but this new render is notably more dynamic in the overall-body movement. That gives a much more realistic feel to the animation. Good call on the upgrade! I can't wait to see what you boob with...er...do with it. :-)

This looks great! Looking forward to seeing what else you do with it going forward

Looking good. Cant tell of the hand goes through the right boob or if its just lighting tho

this feels distinctively more natural in movement than many of your previous animations, keep it up

It looks amazing and the movement is definitely smoother. Should be able to communicate subtler details or movements if you wanted to now. I admit I like the default model you have here for the test, would love to see her in future animations!

begrove

I definitely agree, hopefully in future works I'll be able to maintain that.

begrove

Definitely not cheap, especially if I want to get into the proper motion capture of it (now THAT would be a pretty penny) but hopefully the results will be worth it.

begrove

Me too... I'm really hoping this opens up some new possibilities.

begrove

I thought it might and went through frame by frame and on the render at least I can confirm it doesn't. That being said the fast movement/trajectory may well imply it (or it is added by the motion blur).

begrove

Very much so. Hopefully I'll be able to maintain the effect on more complicated animations.

I kind of liked her too, she seems like a nice 'girl next door' type ;)
