Sketching this was very relaxing I can’t wait to show you the full speedpaint for this month tutorial 💜😤

1. Started the sketching by the outlines just to fit Tae Tae into the canvas, it helps me a lot to start like this 💜

2. Cleared the sketch and marked my main shapes

3. I added the base tones I wanted to get the mood settled. I wanted the glitters and flowers to be the main focus of this piece so I went for a darker palette to contrast with them and guide the attention of the viewer 🌟

4. I used a Gaussian blur filter just to blend the tones and give me a more smooth base to paint over, I also marked my darkest values and main core shadows.

5. Started placing down the hair values, my ref had different light and colour scheme so I wanted to make sure all the colours I chose would fit well and naturally together.

6. Marked my main highlights and rendered the lips.  I painted the flower by drawing it’s shape first and looking transparency.

Small corrections on proportion are done mostly using liquify filter 💜

7. Increased saturation in skin and added green hues to light mostly with overlay layers. Duplicated the flower and shaped it differently using transform 🤙🏻

For a mor 3D look I used multiply layers to make my occlusion areas darker.

8. Tried adding perspective and dept to the piece by bluring everything but the center of the face where my glitters were placed 💜
