Diablo IV - HDR Optimized Settings (Patreon)
Content
The game is NOT using/applying Xbox/Playstation HDR Calibration app settings.
Unfortunately, the game has an average HDR implementation as even if it provides in-game Peak HDR Luminance (up to 4.000 nits) and other HDR controls, it suffers from severe black level raise...
UPDATE: The final version + latest patch re-introduced a very noticeable black level raise, similar to what it was in the first Beta...
- If you use VRR you can further lower the "Fine Tune Dark Areas" around -25 to compensate. Just remember to set it back where it was for other games.
- If you don't, lower regular HDR Brightness of your TV around 39. Just remember to set it back where it was for other games.
SDR on the Left. HDR on the Right. -> STILL BROKEN AFTER LATEST PATCH
