The game is NOT using/applying Playstation HDR Calibration app settings.
The game has a good HDR implementation, offering proper Peak HDR Luminance controls up to 2.500 nits, even if with no numerical reference but just in a slider format against a reference image.
The game also provides regular brightness/gamma and HUD luminance controls
If you have an LG OLED and:
> you're using Dynamic Tone Mapping or Dynamic Contrast:
- Set "Adjust Display Brightness" slider to: +34 clicks (from all the way to the left = 0; Max; which is around 2.500 nits);
> you're using HGIG:
- Set "Adjust Display Brightness" slider to: +9 clicks (from all the way to the left = 0; which is around 800 nits) or +13 clicks (for G2) or +21 clicks (for G3).
If you don't have an LG OLED and:
> you don't have an HGIG option:
- Set "Adjust Display Brightness" slider to: +13 clicks (from all the way to the left = 0; which is around 1.000 nits);
> you're using HGIG:
- Set "Adjust Display Brightness" slider to one of those values and the corresponding real Peak HDR Luminance of your TV in "nits":
In all cases, leave "Scenary Brightness" and "Display Brightness" sliders to Middle (Default) as those already correspond to a balanced/correct exposure and gamma in-game and an acceptable HUD luminance too.
