The game is NOT using/applying Xbox/Playstation HDR Calibration app settings.

The game has a good HDR implementation offering a Peak HDR Luminance slider in nits along with a useful Contrast slider.

If you have an LG OLED and:

> you're using Dynamic Tone Mapping or Dynamic Contrast:

  • Set HDR Brightness slider to: 4.000 (nits; Max);

> you're using HGIG:

  • Set HDR Brightness slider to: 800 (nits) or 1.000 (for G2) or 1.500 (for G3).

If you don't have an LG OLED and:

> you don't have an HGIG option:

  • Set HDR Brightness slider to: 1.000 (nits);

> you're using HGIG:

  • Set HDR Brightness slider to one of those values and the corresponding real Peak HDR Luminance of your TV in "nits".

In all cases, change the "HDR Contrast" values as follows;

  • Mass Effect 1: Legendary Contrast: +1
  • Mass Effect 2: Legendary Contrast: 0
  • Mass Effect 3: Legendary Contrast: -1

BONUS:

  • Disable Film Grain: to improve both clarity and contrast of the picture.

Think this game has been updated. You can now go above 3000 nits. Would you recommend setting it to 4000 now using Dynamic tone mapping?
