The game is NOT using/applying Xbox/Playstation HDR Calibration app settings.

The game has cumbersome HDR and Gamma controls with little to no reference of what they actually does and in different values instead of "nits".

Let's start leaving Gamma to its default: 50 as it already corresponds to a balanced/correct exposure.

The "MAX BRIGHTNESS (HDR)" value will control the actual Peak HDR Brightness while the "BRIGHTNESS (HDR)" value will control Paper White and Midpoint.

If you have an LG OLED and:

> you're using Dynamic Tone Mapping or Dynamic Contrast:

  • Set MAX BRIGHTNESS (HDR) slider to: 60 (which is around 4.000 nits);
  • Set BRIGHTNESS (HDR) slider to: 150 or 200 (for G3).

> you're using HGIG:

  • Set MAX BRIGHTNESS (HDR) slider to: 27 (which is around 800 nits) or 30 (for G2) or 37 (for G3);
  • Set BRIGHTNESS (HDR) slider to: 200.

If you don't have an LG OLED and:

> you don't have an HGIG option:

  • Set MAX BRIGHTNESS (HDR) slider to: 30 (which is around 1.000 nits);
  • Set BRIGHTNESS (HDR) slider to: 200.

> you're using HGIG:

  • Set MAX BRIGHTNESS (HDR) slider to one of those values and the corresponding real Peak HDR Luminance of your TV in "nits":

  • Set BRIGHTNESS (HDR) slider to: 200.
