I looked at all of the art people showed me as their favorites on DA, and this is the answer I found. What I saw in everyone's favorites wasn't technique, or body types, or anything stylistic, it was character. Everyone's art had all of their little quirks in it loud and proud. They wear it with confidence. I approach my art as something that I can do "wrong", as if I'm still that noob from 5 years ago that couldn't draw a face to save their life. The thing is, I know what I'm doing. I absolutely learned how to draw; I'm not learning as a novice. What I was missing is that I was afraid to just go for it and draw exactly what I like. I'm overthinking and saying that my knowledge is off; I can't implement certain things because I "don't know how". It's not true. I know what's up, so I can't go wrong if I'm enjoying what I'm making, and I enjoyed making this, depression be damned. My old favorite was https://www.deviantart.com/fudgex02/art/Love-Seat-777553934 , but say hello to my new favorite. ^_^

And for all the people that took the time to give those links, and to my Patrons that are willing to actually pay to see my art (yes it's a big deal to me still!):
Thank you. :)

Super, that both indeed sums up the piece above and your optimistic attitude you have shown here, happy for ya to have developed that, maybe not confidence, but understanding that you can do it! :)
