On tour, we watched a TON of movies- and just by chance, out of a bargain bin we picked one of Garrett's all time favorite movies! Join him as he sits down with Rocco and Shawn (who had never seen the movie before at all) to gather all their thoughts about this movie we totally didn't know had vampires in it.

My dad took my mom to this as one of their first date movies after my brother and I were old enough for baby-sitters. He said he picked it ‘because George Clooney is in it’ but my mom haaaaaaaates vampires so she was not very happy with him!

HOT 👏 GUYS 👏 Patrick Dempsey won this year’s Sexiest Man Alive to the confusion of ev-er-y-one (it was considered a ‘safe choice’ because it was during the SAG strikes and stuff and he didn’t have any huge projects to promote.) (Some of) the Chrises are still touted as some of the handsomest guys but that’s a whole thing now, too.

Here's the rundown, the story for the movie was conceived by Robert Kurtzman, who was the K in KNB special effects, and he hired Tarantino to write the script. With the sale of the script, Tarantino quit his day job to make Reservoir Dogs and, as a favor, KNB did the ear scene for free. Then when Tarantino saw El Mariachi, he reached out to Robert Rodriguez in order to consult on the script, as From Dusk Till Dawn took place in Mexico. Rodriguez loved the concept and said he'd direct if the producers were down with the idea. The rest is history.
