I feel like you should take the current top albums from RateYourMusic or a similar site and pull from that list. You'd probably get a lot more enjoyable stuff.

This album is now what will play in my head whenever I think of "country music from the 2010s." Hard pass for me, too, but I can also see how being in the middle of preparing for a tour could make this album tedious!
