As someone who loves Monster Hunter, I agree that part of the showcase was insanely boring. Even I tuned out when I was watching. Do wish Shawn wasn't so dismissive though. It's fine if he doesn't want to play a game, but saying stuff like "who even plays these" is wild to me when Monster Hunter is Capcoms most successful franchise.

It happens almost every time they react to a presentation, and it isn't always limited to Shawn either. Honestly the boys have just become noticeably jaded and out of touch with the games industry over the years, very abrasive towards titles that don't fall into their specific niches. "Who even plays these?" is an absolutely mental thing to say about Monster Hunter (and recently Life is Strange).
