As The Aquabats' schedule got busier, the song was unfortunately put on the backburner, missing the Version 2 DVD release and ultimately just never finished. However, the instrumental demo can be heard in pieces in certain episodes of "The Aquabats Super Show" (within the fake toy commercials made by Mega64) as well as in full on the "Mega64 Sound Only" album released this past year.

Back when our Version 2 DVD was being completed, we had an ambitious idea to involve our favorite band, The Aquabats, in a closing performance involving a brand new song written specifically about Mega64. The Aquabats agreed to do it, and fairly quickly laid some beats down as the groundwork for the song. This footage is from the night that the Mega64 crew stopped by The Aquabats' studio to hear the progress so far (as well as film a couple fun cameos that could potentially be used on the Version 2 DVD).
