PRODUCTION NOTES:
-This episode was produced at a time where Mega64 had been discovered by staff members at the G4 network. Some of the G4 crew helped film the episode in the hopes that it would be a more impressive pitch to the network. They used their own professional equipment, hence the massive difference in quality. Though the network ultimately did not care about Mega64, the gang was so impressed by the camera tech that Rocco bought the same camera to produce the next episode, "Summer Semester."
-The very first episode to include Garrett Hunter, both behind the scenes and on camera.
-The only episode to have all original music scored/timed to the episode by composer Josh Jones.
-The actor playing Teddy Beans was days later featured on an episode of MTV's "Room Raiders" where they edited the episode to make it look like he was watching porn during the taping (???)
-The "Ico" video was later shown at the Game Developers Conference awards and was praised by game creator Fumito Ueda, saying it was "really funny."
-The first episode to feature Kevin Bushong as a goon in a bear mask- and he really did make that noise when he got hit.
NEXT TIME: There's a new band in town, featuring hot jams from Horatio and Marcus! But a visitor from the future warns what is to come... and it involves possums and snakes? And what has Shawn discovered in the depths below? Find out on the next Oscar-level episode of Mega64 Version 2: "Summer Semester!"
