Just got the Criterion for The Elephant Man in the mail. Great timing!

Top 3 things I got from this movie. 1. The 80's were a wonderful time 2. Kelly Preston was a beauty and a sweety. R.i.P. 3. The song Brother to Brother by The Spinners is an overlooked masterpiece. Even though my brothers and I are close, they live on the other side of the country. It gets me emotional listening to it. I cant find it streaming anywhere beyond Youtube likely due to soundtrack rights. For being a 60's motown band they released a great 80s track. I tried watching twins a few years ago and ended up turning it off, which I rarely do. It was just so dull.

I had this on during quarantine and kind of marveled at how weirdly violent it would get with the hitman character considering how goofy the rest of the movie was. The 80s were a weird time. Ronald Reagan.
