In 2006, Mega64 did two promotional videos for Ubisoft for the game "Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter." These productions were to be debuted directly on the Xbox Live dashboard, and as such were required to be in HD (a first for Mega64) and in 5.1 Surround Sound (the first and last time they did that). The concept of both videos was to heavily focus on the new "Crosscom" headset item in the game, so a gag was devised for Derrick to wear it while he was driving... and not pay attention to the people he was running over. We had our friends Leroy and Trizz from No Mercy Video, an absolutely fearless online stunt group, come down to be hit by a car for the video. When it was over and adrenaline was still running high, it was decided Trizz would jump off Rocco's roof into the pool for no reason. The videos eventually came out on Xbox Live, but they were listed as "Ghost Recon Fan Videos," which was ridiculous because Ubisoft paid us to make them. After some back and forth arguing, Microsoft re-titled the videos on the dashboard, which we were told "never happens." We are truly blessed. Except for Leroy, whose car hit was cut from the video.

This behind the scenes segment was originally featured on a Mega64 E3 2006 Exclusive DVD given away at the Ubisoft booth. The original footage was believed to be lost until Rocco found it all in a music folder on an old hard drive.
