I've been wanting to cover this trio of Tiger/Grandstand tabletop games for years. There's just something stupid about them. Very likely the size of the screen in relation to their body. But regardless, they're a fascinating set, which lured me in during the late 80s, just like anyone else.

Also, I've literally just finished this and haven't had time to do a proper "proof view", so madness may lie within.

These Games are Ridiculous | Patreon | Nostalgia Nerd

Tiger LCD games; we're all familiar with those. Handheld games which offer brief moments of distraction, but did you know that Tiger actually made deluxe versions of these games in tabletop format. The outcome is, as you'd expect, ridiculous and absurd, so I felt like it was time to look a the 3 main culprits. Afterburner, Outrun and Batman. ๐Ÿ”—Video Links๐Ÿ”— ๐Ÿ† Support ๐Ÿ† Support my channel, get exclusive videos & perks, as well as an ad and sponsor free experience at https://www.patreon.com/nostalgianerd from just $1 ๐Ÿช NN Shop & Affiliate Links! ๐Ÿช My eBay Shop: https://nnerd.es/NerdShop (Now Re-open!) It would be a fun project to fit a Raspberry Pi and modern LCD screen into one of these.
