We should reopen a place like GC. Two MBytes per User and maybe, as a nod to the present, a HTML5 filemanager and a texteditor. Nothing more.

My old GeoCities site seems to have been lost to the stretches of time as I can't find it in any of the online archives except on the Way Back Machine in various broken states, though it actually goes all the way back to its REALLY early iterations there, even if incomplete. If you want to see some of its earlier states (there's more than one) it was at TimesSquare/Zone/2014 , though I got a domain name in 2001 and while the GeoCities link still technically worked you need to look up my pixelships . com address for all the snapshots beyond 2001. :B
