I've been seeing a lot of debate on whether or not we should care about this ruling by Congress. Chances are that it'll pass the Presidential sign off too.

In my opinion - of course we should care! I've been touting privacy for years, and this ruling doesn't in the lightest change my opinion on that, it just makes me more of an advocate if anything. To lost interest in our privacy or security feels like we are selling ourselves short to a 1984 Big Brother, and personally, I don't want that to happen.

What's your feels on this? Do you think Congress ruling in favor of ISPs selling data without consent changes anything? Does it make you more interested in your own security? Why in the world would someone NOT care? In your opinion, is it any different than companies selling data?

Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
