Today I'd like to know what you think about people (be them contractors, employees, etc) leaking data about surveillance or hacking tools to the public from government agencies?

Does it make a difference whether it's public surveillance or possible targeted attacks? Do you care WHO leaks the data? 

It's an interesting debate, and spurs a lot of controversy. In the infosec community, I've found many folks praise people like Snowden, but others  frown upon it and think whistleblowers should be treated as terrorists.
