Hey Alliance!

This year started out hard - in January I got covid, and even tho I'm fully vaccinated, it really exhausted me to the point where I had no energy to record shows on my main tech channel for a long time. I still powered through and kept the ThreatWire episodes coming, but I won't lie - I was very demotivated. With the Ukraine news and everything happening in Q1, it definitely took a toll on my mental health.

The year has gotten so much better since then and I'm grateful for your support.

I hope your holidays are going well. I know they can be stressful so take some time for yourself if you can. I'll be taking some PTO time to prep for 2023, CES, and everything I'm hoping to accomplish. I'll be setting some new goals and planning out the year. The end of the year is usually full on family / CES mode, so I'll have a new ThreatWire episode prepared for you after that convention. I hope you enjoy my Top Hacks of 2022 video!!

Merry Christmas!

-Shannon

@Snubs, keep up the great work, I am so happy to hear you are better, this year sucks for illnesses, I had Mono for months, I couldn't understand it, the doctors tested me weekly for Covid, and they finally listened to me and tested me for MONO after 3 months.

I hope you had a great Christmas with your husband and family. I had a rough 2021 and 2022. My dad has Dementia and couldn’t stay at home alone anymore. Plus he had medical complications and was hospitalized for almost three months. Now my dad is being looked after at a nursing home. He no longer has any medical complications now. My sister and I visit him almost every day. All the best for 2023 Shannon. Happy New Year!
