Hey friends! If you're in the discord, you know I had a water emergency this week and had to cancel my recording of ThreatWire. We had a bit of a water leak. Turn out our home builder bolted some nails straight through our water pipes in the wall behind out pantry, and it was seeping into the basement right on top of the brand new framed walls. So that was basically my Monday!

All is well now, construction on the studio is back on schedule and plumbing is being worked on this next week!

I was intending to take Monday off in lieu of Easter, but I don't want to leave you hangin' two weeks in a row. See y'all with a new episode next week!

Omg! That is awful. Glad things are getting back on schedule and that it was found before they finished putting the walls up. Hopefully, that is the only pitfall in your construction and everything else is smooth sailing ⛵.

It could have always been worse!

Yes my basement contractor said we were lucky we caught it since the drywall isn't up yet!

No worries. You gotta get that stuff sorted out especially with water. Glad y'all caught it early.

Yeeesh that's crazy, you'd have thought he'd check for pipes. Not an expert myself but I'm sure there's an old gadget that you hold over a wall that you wanted to work on that would whine anytime over pipes and electrics hidden under the wall same happened with roads too. Glad it was caught so quickly.

I hope you can you leave a review about that home builder. Alternatively, you can let the home builder know what happened.
