Messaging app Go SMS Pro, which has over 100 million installs from the Google Play store, has a massive security flaw that potentially allows people to access the sensitive content you've sent using the app. Trustwave has released a report about the vulnerability.

Rate messaging apps like this. Signal Secure and Private I trust it the most. Telegram Proprietary Encryption but it ubiquitous nature makes a fast moving target and if governments are complaining about it and wanting to ban it can't be too bad. Last is Whatsapp, yes they use Signal's encryption protocol but what they do keep quiet is have they hoover up ALL your metadata when you use it. So that is all your contacts your photo names all the media you send is all unencrypted on your device where the can examine it at their leisure without your consent. SMS is just not secure and was never meant to be. It should only be used for non sensitive things and should NEVER be used as a security token EVER. Complain to companies who keep doing that. Grrrr
