An Important, Timely Video About Data Privacy While Protesting (Patreon)
Content
So, the DEA requested the ability to covertly surveil protesters. Since peaceful assembly is covered under the first amendment, this is how I reacted. I made a video about all sorts of tips for protecting your phone and data from surveillance. As a hacker who frequents infosec cons, these are things I do every single time I go to events where there's a possibility someone is snooping on the frequencies.

And a VERY important note: This video includes a fundraiser for the ACLU, so you can donate directly and youtube covers the transaction fees (it's tax deductible for you).
ALSO: I kept ad revenue on for this video and I'm donating 100% of the ad revenue to Campaign Zero. https://www.joincampaignzero.org/
I've chosen to push back my tech reviews til next week since NOW IS NOT THE TIME. Right now, I'm working on amplifying the voices and channels of black tech creators and sharing resources for those affected via twitter. https://twitter.com/Snubs/status/1268186636157779970
I'm editing some new tech content as we speak and will resume posting early next week.
xoxo,
