Hey Patrons! I wanted to send out this quick update video to share what's been going on for the past few months. My official move date is the second week of March so I'll likely not be recording anything that week. You will see episodes post for the next two weeks as usual from my California apartment. If there are any hiccups with recording or equipment during the move (like damage or loss), I'll keep you updated. I already have internet installed at the new house so I should be able to get back to recording the week after I move in. ThreatWire will proceed as normal, though this move will help with costs associated with running a show and will allow me to be more productive (this means I'll be able to dedicate more time to the show!!)

Congrats on the new house, and good luck on the move. I recently moved from the Washington/Baltimore area to Rochester, and was amazed at how much cheaper the houses were - it must be even greater for you coming from SF!! I admit that 2 years later there are still unpacked boxes, but maybe with two of you it will go faster. :) Definitely do wiring now in unfinished areas. Also watch for any possible water flooding in basement (saw the sump pump). Maybe a short raised floor? I did have to go from fiber in MD to cable internet here, but fiber is coming. Gonna up my Patreon $$ for you!

Well stay positive we know moving is stressful so don't add us to your worries ok? But looks nice and I think you can quite easily make it reflect who you are.

Congratulations to the both of you! New house looks amazing! Before you buy new cat.6 cables you should check to see if the cat. 5e is not able to work just as well since the cable length is not really so long in a house it might be fine even for cat. 6 speeds :D

Thank you!! And yes, they talked me through the sump pump when we bought the house. Luckily, we're on a hill and it's a new build so we shouldn't experience much if any flooding.

My house in Maryland had a walkout basement and steps going out. So the little drain flooded often (till I got a bigger one) and I got inches of water in the basement! Ended up putting everything on pallets. But my new house in Rochester is also on a hill and it’s such a relief not to have to worry about every storm! But I still use my water detector alarm just in case. :) Best wishes!
