I update the Patreon credits on the website and in the credits of the video monthly. I usually wait a few days after the 1st of the month to add new folks just in case people need to change their payment info.

Invites to google hangouts or announcements of any kind will always come from that email address or directly through Patreon posts (like this one!). Any important PATREON updates will be tagged with the PATRON UPDATE which, if viewing in a browser, is located on the left hand side of my patreon page under the header "Featured Tags". It's basically a bookmark for any important info posts I publish here.
