I wanted to give y'all a close up of our new ThreatWire camera today! We decided to use a Panasonic Lumix GH3 for our set, with a 12-35 mm lens. http://amzn.to/2GBKg1i

This matches the rest of our studio cameras, so if we have a failure, we can "borrow" one of the other cameras from our main set. 3, 2, 1 backup even with equipment! HA!

This one has a pop out screen, in case we ever need it, as well as an HDMI input for our video recorder, excellent ISO and is full HD. We didn't invest in a 4k camera since none of our video equipment currently supports 4k, nor do we upload in 4k.

If I have some time later this week, I'll throw together some comparison shots between our old camera and the new one. The old camera was a Canon DSLR, still usable, so we donated it.

Those Lumix cameras are really nice. Bought one for my wife becauase it was really light and a fraction of the cost of other DSLR mirror cameras. The side benifit was it take AMAZING pictures and video.

Awesome Camera - I love my G85 and being able to mount & shoot through my dad's old lenses from the 60's was a great plus. He was a professional photographer, so I have a bunch of old glass. Longtime fan, keep up the great work and congrats on the new studio.
