Ransomware? Malware? Zero-days? Etc?

Malware and zero days, personally. Ultimately all are good learning experiences though.

Ransomware is the scariest...

Malware analysis is near and dear to my heart. I'd love to see more coverage of tools like Remnux for manipulating the network environment presented to a test target machine. (That is... here's news about this new malware. A few days later, here's a 20 minute episode where we put it on a machine and poke it with a stick.)

All the above. Each can be fascinating in their own way.

Zero Days. Because that's the hardest, in my opinion, to guard against. An informed geek is a safe geek ;)

Definitely zero days. It's what all the others can make use of. Even nation states keep these for themselves if they can.

zero days

Zero day core services bugs. Bluebourne and Krack but lets not forget RFID-CUSP. Shows how fragile our world really is...

zero days, but everything really, is all good

I'd rather hear about legislation than bug-o-the-day. What Congress does affects my privacy and Internet security for decades; the other stuff is bang-patch-gone.
