A week has gone by.

And what a week it has been. Once again, we find ourselves meeting on a Saturday instead of a Friday — I think, at this point, I might as well change the Progress Report posts to Saturday.

But while last week's reason for the delay was a positive one, this week's less than a happy one. I had to rush to the hospital emergency room with my mom at 4 am, and we only got back home at 8 pm. She's better now, stable, but as you can imagine, I didn't have it in me to write even a single sentence.

Despite the week's challenging ending, however, it was a great one overall. I wrote so much, and each writing session has been more productive than the last. I know I yelled about it earlier this week, but I finished a pretty big set that I'm still very happy about!!! To be honest, I planned to finish the first variation of the last scene of the chapter on Friday — but life had other plans.

But this means I'm pretty close to that goal! I hope to achieve it tomorrow, actually! 😊

Other than that, I also wrote (almost) all the major Patreon content for this month — the theme for October's scenarios is "Nightmare". 👀 I'm pretty happy with how they turned out, ehehe. I started planning the mature scenario too — I think this month it'll feature The Pirate King.

I also just saw Neia's portrait and... let's just say I'm pretty sure you'll all like it! ♡

The goal for next week will be a modest one: finish the first variation of the final scene. Very modest. It'll feel great when I achieve it — and even better to surpass it. So... keeping it low to help motivate me! It's kind of a cheat, but sometimes, we all need to cheat a little to make life a bit easier.

And that's exactly what I wish for you all. To have life be just a little bit easier. I know I sit beside you with a tired face and a voice not as lively as it usually is, but I just need to reset my energy. I'm looking forward to waking up tomorrow and starting writing, honestly. It's amazing how some things are great stabilizers.

Speak to you soon! May the wind be always at your back. 🌹

Ana, I'm so sorry about your mother! I'm so glad she is doing better! May she continue to do so! Also I totally understand about not having the will to write after such a week you've had. Get rest. You've earned it :) (P.S. is it weird of me to envision you like sitting in my kitchen or a coffee shop when you post these progress reports? I mean I feel as if I'm talking to a friend and that you're actually here. I hope that doesn't sound weird 😅)

Take your time there is no need to rush, family matters more. I hope your mother gets better soon, I know how stressful it can be worrying about a loved one so make sure to prioritize yourself and your family.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mum! Hopefully she continues to get better!

Thank you ♡ She is doing better now. And it's not weird at all, that actually made me smile really hard - and that's exactly what I needed. Let's keep sharing a coffee together 😋
