Another week has passed!

As I had anticipated, I didn't have as much time to write chapter one as I would have liked. This past week has been... ripped with tribulations and obstacles as well as the usual frenzy one has to deal with before leaving for a trip. So, not a lot of time for writing, but what matters, I like to tell myself, is how I spent whatever minutes I did manage to have.

And I think I spent them well! Chapter One is still going at a slower pace than before, but some of the branches are really surprising me! Sometimes I add a little choice, not very thought of, not particularly planned, and it's so fun when you actually think of the possibilities going forward.

How it can change the narrative, not a substantial lot, not in world-shattering ways, but on a more personal level. On how the MC interacts with, or even runs away from the world. It's just fun. I'll be carrying those little details throughout the games, so it's entertaining to see them in action for the first time.

What else? I wrote non-game material, although, as you could guess from my other post, I didn't manage to finish all that I wanted. Alas, it shall be waiting for me when I return from Wales. And Wales is where I'll be by the time you're reading this! I'll be away until the 17th, but I left posts scheduled here for next week.

I might do some writing while I'm abroad- I'll be taking my notebook, after all - but I won't have access to my laptop. In any case, I'll see you all when I return.

Have a wonderful week ahead, filled with what most makes you happy. And whether you prefer the gentle sun of spring or the cozy flames of a winter hearth, I hope you find comforts in the little things. Life is made of them.

Fare thee well! 🌹
