Year 699 (34 years before present)

"The pixie sprinkled some dust on Matilda's broom, and it started to come to life" read Hector Yenva from a book about a maidservant and her magical broom.

"Father, can you do something for me?" Asked Ellaine, interrupting her father's reading.
"For you my dear, anything" replied Hector. "what is it this time?"
"I want a school built near aunt Kari's place" answered Ellaine.
"I suppose you have a reason for such a demand?" asked Hector.
"The kids there can't read nor write and are completely oblivious about anything that I talk about." Ellaine replied clicking her tongue. "It's frustrating! It's like I'm dealing with monkeys that could talk".

"Now now, what did I tell you about making unkind remarks about other people's intellect?" said Hector reproachfully.
"But they know so little of the world!" Ellaine responded with exasperation.
"They are children my dear, it's natural for them to not know a lot of things" replied Hector with a chuckle, he knows that her daughter means well but he also understand that she is unable to express her thoughts in a cordial manner.

"I am also a child you know" Ellaine said knitting her eyebrows.
"But you're different" replied Hector. "you inherited your mother's mind, you were conversing with adults as soon as you were able to walk"

"Are you going to build a school or not?" Ellaine said heatedly pursing her lips
"Alright, I will take care of it as soon as I can" Hector said finally after a brief pause.
"Brilliant! Now read something else for me father, I've already memorized Matilda's adventures, more like misadventures if you ask me. How about the tale of Grakos and the golden army?" said Ellaine mischievously.
"I'm afraid that one is not meant for kids" Hector responded.
"I thought you said I'm different" Ellaine said smugly.
"Fine, you probably already read it when I wasn't looking." replied Hector shaking his head.
